Daisies in the bottle

Sunlight was everywhere, but the rays captured in the water never seemed to escape. They were trapped.

The expression on the face of my grandson just had to be captured.

Desert Rose

The scorching desert sun lends a warmth to the scene. A rich brown skin that reflects the bright light, and then the shy intent expression is remarkable.

Danya and the kitten

Could not take Danya's interest away from the kitten frolicking away in the warm sunshine on the grass, outside the window. I used the way   my grand daughter was totally engrossed to work on a composition as she sat still.
The early sun created magic in the room and I wanted to capture it.
Hands kept together in her lap and toes turned inwards in an effort to strike a pose, while observing every move of the kitten, Danya has instilled life into this painting.
The kitten has become very much a part of this painting, hence the title.

The money plant

The sunlight falling on this plant beckoned me everyday.
Painting it in monochrome was an exercise in tonal values
and very educating.
